OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE DECANTER

It is in a high speed rotating drum provided with an internal cochlea. The fluid is centrifugated and the phases stratify; the one with greater density (solid) stratify in the more external circular crown. The cochlea rotates slowly respect the drum and drags the solid towards the discharge point. Water goes out from the opposite side.
